What should be the priority of a welfare state In India?
Helmet or shoes/mosquito net/food.
If I was given authority for a while Iwould have given strict orders to the
traffic police to watch that none from the public should be found on the
road without wearing shoes or atleast chappals.If found, he or she
should be challaned and pay penalty. I would issue orders that health
department should investigate that none from the public should be found
sleeping without using mosquito net. I would have issued orders that
checking should ensure that nobody sleeps hungary in the night . Not only
this the traffic police must check that the person is not hungary moving
on the street.I am afraid to say that if such orders were issued the
department concerned will not take interest for compliance obviously
because such orders would be from a really welfare State and really in
the interest of the public . why the govt. be overactive only for the safety
of those rich people who are already living in the safety zone. Perhapes
only because manufacrer of Helmet pursues the concerned department.
